Snippets of June

June was filled with boredom and nothingness but went by quickly nonetheless. It was a month where summer had sinked in too comfortably, and the longing for more routined days seeps in. I didn't take many photos on my camera, but here are some of them anyway.

This set of photos are edited with a VSCO preset in Lightroom -- I usually enjoy tweaking my own photos but this one reminded me a lot of my old film photos and their imperfect, nostalgic tones. I haven't developed a roll in a loooong time and I really do miss it.

Liberty Village is a little area located West of downtown Toronto, and I've been meaning to visit it for a while. It's surrounded by condos but the area itself is filled with historic, industrial buildings that have green vines taking over their outer walls.
West Elm
Toronto Carpet Factory, such a gem

The character of Queen Street West really shines as you head towards west. Stores are mostly independent and there are some nice architecture and galleries to admire.
Gladstone Hotel, with art exhibiting on its floors

401 Richmond is a dreamy space filled with natural sunlight, large plants, and creaky floors.
An amazing courtyard

Foggy nights that remind me a lot of my 16 year old, tripod/camera-carrying-in-the-middle-of-the-night self.

Also throwing in a few photos from Canada Day. This is from a day trip to Hamilton.
